Phone Showing Qrong Information On Battery (3000mah as 2000mah)

My device is Micromax Canvas 2 Colors (A120)....The original battery capacity was 2000mah.....Recently i replaced my swollen 2000mah battery with a 3000mah battery.....The battery is for the device Micromax A116 (Screenshot is attached).....The battery fits perfectly and has the same rating as of the original.......When i started using my phone the standby hours or talk time hours are not increased (i think the percentage drop is faster than the stock, now the percentage drop is 1% per 2or 3 min).....Then i checked my battery capacity using an app called phone tester ( screen shot is attached)...I have tried calibrating the battery but it didn't helped....Tried this in stock ROM and other custom Roms...... Please help me fix this....

Vivid Case for Samsung S7 Edge review , a lots of photos

This is a review of the Black "Galaxy S7 Edge case,I got it for free , as the company from Texas contacted me to offer me free cases to exchange review . so here we are
Link http://ift.tt/1Se7CLD

PRO:
1. It solves the problem that the GS7E is all glass, so there is no grip. The case is very grippy A+ I can now hold it with one hand,
2. It looks great all the other cases on the market look "cartoony" with bright colors. Not too flashy looks exactly like the picture.
3. Case is fitted perfectly for the phone allowing use of the edge. I even like it better with it on because it barely catches the edge of my finger so my finger doesn't accidentally slide off when using some of the edge functions.
4. It doesn't interfere with wireless charging. I've tested this on both the Samsung wireless charger, and the Samsung fast wireless charger.

CON:
1. If you're expecting this case to give your phone any actual damage protection from a drop. It would be very minimal. The case is flexible but not as flexible as, say a gel case. So it will help against accidental dings while in your pocket situations along those lines.
The good news is that the Gorilla Glass 4 used in the manufacturing of the GS7e is incredibly strong, and envelopes the entire phone. You will probably never have to worry about scratches or moderate drops anyways. (I've already dropped mine 3 times in the first month before buying the case, and haven't seen any damage, scratches, etc.

My review is honest and unbiased , the discount will not affect my independent review

Need help restoring stock android (Galaxy S6 SM-G920I)

I recently purchased a factory unlocked Galaxy S6, and I decided to go ahead and install Xposed Framework (this is after I flashed XtreStoLite Deodexed). I installed XtreStoLite correctly, and I also installed TWRP.
After I went to install the Xposed Framework, I got stuck in a bootloop. I believe that I may have installed an incorrect version of it, although I'm not sure. I'd just like to reset the phone to its defaults - I did not have much saved on it to begin with since I decided to go ahead and mess with it encase of this happening. I unfortunately forgot to back up, since I thought that installing Xposed would be as easy as XSL. I'm able to provide any more information that anyone needs; I'd just like to get the phone working again.
I have already went ahead and loaded into TWRP and wiped the Dalvik, Cache, and I also formatted my data. I'm not sure what to do now, because it's still bootlooping. Any help would be appreciated.

Phone active while dozing?

Hi all,
During idle and sleep time I see my phone is still active during doze (not during idle_pending but during idle itself). I can constantly see the active line in the graph like bar code. Happens both in wifi and Lte.. I can't find any suspects using bbs and wakelock detectors.

Do u keep wifi turned off during night? If it's turned on, do u see the phone being awake.

BTW I have set the wifi frequency as 2.4 ghz only and my router is 2.4 ghz one..

Newbie Questions

I have several questions that are frustrating me right now. Just over a week with this watch.

1) I am using the stock 3 dial watch face and want to have the weather dial use The Weather Channel or some other source for the weather besides Google Now. Does anyone know how to do this?

2) Today, the Fly Delta app showed me a boarding pass from last week 4 times. I finally had to block the application from working. What is the mechanism that makes this happen? I want to be able to use the boarding pass when needed, but what possesses it to send the boarding pass on it's own "good will". Especially when the flight was 7 days ago? If I am standing at the gate, what action do I take if the boarding pass isn't there?

3) Google Now keeps sending me notifications to leave for meetings even for appointments that I do not have notifications set up for. I have seen this many times over on older threads. I just want one notification on my watch and it should match what I have setup on my phone. Is there any solutions to this?

It seems that Google now is just running away with my watch. Not a positive experience so far.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

[GAME][2.3+] Tricky Twister: little puzzle about colors and rotations

This puzzle is about colors, hexagons and rotations with touch-driven gesture game play. Game offers a new take on classical sliding tile puzzles and color matching games by introducing a new rotation principle for connecting hexagonal color tiles. Let's say - it's like Rubik's cube, but on flat surface.

Available on Google Play

gameplay

Right now, there's only time-pressure based game mode: one minute to play the game, get as many points as possible. The goal is to create color clusters of five or more hexagons by rotating any circle of six neighboring tiles. Use natural gestures: touch and slide to rotate color hex tiles. Power-ups, bonus points and extra game time for removing 6+ hexagons or chain reactions

ScreenShots

I'm working/experimenting on more relaxed step-based game mode, but it's in early prototyping stage.

[Review] Tronsmart Dual USB Wall Quick Charger

Introduction
One can never have too many wall chargers; especially in a day and age where people own multiple devices or live in busy households with many cellphones users under the same roof. I am one of those people, so wall chargers with multiple ports often come in handy. There are plenty on the market, but which one is the right choice? Also, I'm not a professional photographer, so some of the pictures will be less than fantastic, especially when you consider the Nexus 5X I used sucks at close-ups for some odd reason. Anyways, lets dive into the Tronsmart 33W Dual USB wall charger.

Disclaimer: I received the reviewed products from Tronsmart in exchange for this review. I have no financial stake or affiliation with this company. I've actually never even owned a Tronsmart product before. No bias exists here.

Details
Initial Impressions
Along with the charger, I received boxes of Black and White USB-C and USB-A to USB-C cables (four cables total). This review will not focus on the performance of the cables, as they have already been reviewed here. They do, however, adhere to the USB-C standard.

The packaging is pretty standard. They're cables and chargers, so nothing fancy is really required here. I did notice, almost immediately, the USB 2.0 logo. I'm a little disappointed that the cables are not USB 3.0 but we're really treading into nitpicking territory here. My Nexus 5X isn't USB 3.0 capable but my future devices down the road might be.

My first impressions of the charger are good. It's made of a mixture of textured and gloss plastic, the design itself is quite attractive. There are no visible seems or sharp edges in the plastic. Additionally, it has a nice heft to it, sometimes indicative of quality. The swiveling mechanism moves with an authoritative "snap", inspiring further confidence in the build quality of the product.

As mentioned previously, I received two USB-A to USB-C cables, one black and one white, and two USB-C cables in the same color arrangement. The cables are terrific. The first thing I noticed was that the cables are a bit thinner than the Choetech cables I have (same gauge as the cable that came with the phone), but are far more flexible. The flexibility is nice when charging the phone on my desk so I don't have to bend and manipulate the cable to get it in a state where it's not constantly tugging on my phone. With the less flexible Choetech cable, I felt that sometimes the cable with putting a lot of stress on the charging port of the phone. I don't have this concern with the Tronsmart cables. This is also great for travelling where I can easily coil them up and throw them in a bag without having to twisty-tie them together. The ends of the cables are also a bit nicer as well. The USB-C ends having a sloped, ergonomic shape that fits my fingers quite well.

Design and Features

The charger sits in a normal wall outlet vertically. When plugged in, it has an indicator light that glows green, which is a nice touch, but doesn't really mean anything other than that your wall outlet is working.

The charger has two ports. A USB-C port and USB-A port. The USB-C port is a Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 capable port. An ability that my Nexus 5X can't take advantage of, but is much appreciated by me nonetheless. I'm sure the charging speed will come in handy in the future. The USB-A port is a "Volt iQ" port. Volt iQ is essentially a small circuit that is able to detect the current required by the device that's being charged. It's a pretty cool feature that expands the compatibility of this charger to almost any device, even Apple products or older devices before standards (like 2.1A charging) were set in the industry.

Performance

I'm gonna be honest here, I had planned on presenting a bunch of data and results from readings taken using the popular app, Ampere. Unfortunately, readings were so sporadic I didn't even bother to continue with recording the information. I'm assuming this has more to do with the phone and its battery temperature / CPU usage and less to do with the actual charger itself. I can tell you that a pattern that quickly emerged is that the phone would not charge any faster than 2540mAh from either port, using any of the supplied cables.

2540mAh is a very respectable number and while the phone is capable of charging at 3000mAh, this number doesn't really bother me because, if anything, the battery will stay healthier longer.

It should also be mentioned that immediately after receiving these cables I visited a good friend of mine for a weekend. He has two young dogs, one German Shepherd that's 6 months old. To my dismay, I came downstairs one morning to find the dog chewing on the cable. I removed the cable from the dog's mouth and to my surprise, there was no damage to the cable. If anything this is a testament to the cable's durability. Teething Puppy-Approved.

Overall
Overall, I'm quite happy with the quality and performance of the charger and the cables. I

Whats the point posting ROMS when they DONT work fully and still have bloatware etc.?

Am i missing something, but when I came to XDA in the past it had ROMs that were better than stock ROMs. By that I mean they were faster, de-bloated and included better features. Now they all seem to just be higher android versions ported from newer phones but with most of the same bloatware and worse still, broken features like camera modes, gps or echo etc.
I just seems like there is no real gain from moving away from stock ota updates? What am i missing? I wish Cyanogen officially supported the g850F will all features working 100% !!!

Came across a new problem I can't find anywhere else.

I've recently come across a new issue on my T-mobile Galaxy Note 4 that I haven't seen before. I've been searching online as well and can't seem to find anyone else posting about this problem either. I'm not the best but I have some experience. I've recently rooted and flashed tekxodus hybrid n4 5 1 1 rom on my note 4 through TWRP recovery. It took a few tries but everything worked. After using it for 3 days, I decided to turn it off and hard reboot it which I've done plenty of times before. But this time, upon rebooting it starts up and shows the tmobile logo screen and turns black. Vibrates twice as if you plugged it into the charger but remains black, and stays that way. If i plug it into the charger it shows the green battery screen and charges normally. I can enter twrp recovery and download mode as well. But it just can't get past the logo screen. I've also tried using a different note 4 battery from other videos, clearing the cache, delvik-cache, but nothing seems to work. As earlier mentioned, I can't seem to find any other post with this exact problem so I've come to reddit for help. Thank you in advance for any feedback.

is cyanogenmod 13 available for the SM-G920T1 Model? Please help :'(

I have been trying to removed the rent a center lock from my galaxy s6 Model SM-G920T1 for months now and i have had no luck. From the countless hours of research I've done I have discovered that the only way to remove the lock is by installing the cyanogemod rom to my device but I haven't been able to find a download for my model. All the download I've found say they are only compatible with other models. Please someone post a link to a cyanogenmod 13 download for my s6 model or tell me if there is none. If there is any other way of removing the rent a center lock from the galaxy s6 SM-G920T1 please let me know. Thank you in advance.

SlickScript for LP/MM

I have decided to release an all-in-one package to turn any LP/MM Rom into SlickROM (Fulmics/Blacksoul have done a great job with LP/MM and it's pointless to waste bandwith).

This package features:
  • Init.d Support
  • Debloat with slim replacements for essential apps
  • An init.d script with every tuned parameter I've used in SlickROM (governors, schedulers, deep level kernel parameters, etc.)
  • Other secret goodies

Uploading!

[Q - How do] How do Unlock Sim 01 for Honor 4x Che1-CL1

just received my Honor 4X in China. It's a nice phone with incredible features for a low price. As I travel a lot between China and Viettel Sim.

What I did not realize (Chinese description) was the fact that SIM1 is locked for China Telecom. SIM2 accepts my Viettel SIM (vietnam) but only with 2G.

Any Idea how to unlock SIM1 so that I can use LTE with my Viettel SIM card?
Thanks All

Zooper widgets

I've been searching around and I found a big thread on XDA with all the RRO Layers and Nav bars, but I haven't found a dedicated area outside of a Google+ page for Zooper widgets in .zw form for download. Is there a master thread or large thread where these are usually posted ?

Flashed to Stock Rom, but now have "No Service"

Hello, First time poster, and quite frankly a noob at a lot of this. Here's my issue, i have a at&t Samsung Galaxy S4 that i recieved from a family member that was stuck in a serious boot loop. Only way i could get it to come back was to flash the stock firmware, which worked excellent....now my issue, it seems like about 98% of the time i have the "No Service" icon up top. I got the phone locked through at&t but have since unlocked it to use on Straight talk, as thats what i was originally advised to do by an at&t member (turns out I didnt even need to do this in the first place as ST is just using the at&t towers as a reseller). Unlocked phone, still no service. I had ST previously in a Galaxy S2 in my current location and service was superb, so i know its not a carrier issue. Is it possible that when i flashed stock rom, that i missed something? I checked around and it seems like my modem is updated to the latest setting. When i switched it to ST after about 30 minutes the signal popped up and it seems like as soon as it showed up, it was gone again. Since that point i've been able to make 1 call (I activated ST about 4 days ago) and that call was today, with only 1 bar of reception. Shortly after that call the signal dropped completely again. I am at a complete loss as to why it refuses to get any reception. I was thinking maybe the modem needs to be updated, but the wifi works perfect, and the reception seems to show up (just as 1 little bar) rarely. Anyone have any ideas?

[GUIDE] Tweaking Interacting Gov

Hey guys, Kyuubi10 back once again with another Guide.
I thought it might be useful to pop in a couple results of my trial and error for the HTC One M8.

Note: This is not scientifically, calculated accurate, but it's close enough, based on estimates.

After following these guides:
http://ift.tt/1v1cIhc
http://ift.tt/1ndJsnu

I decided to make a summary guide of the above but with specific HTC One M8 values.

Since I agree with the idea of "race to idle" embodied in the Wheatley governor, I tried emulating that on the Interactive governor while also keeping it as efficient as possible.

Here are the values (all others not mentioned, leave default):
Code:

above_hispeed_delay - 80000 2265600:10000

go_hispeed_load - 95

hispeed_freq - 1728000

io_is_busy - 1

min_sample_time - 10000

target_loads - 45 729000:80 883200:50 1267000:85 1497600:50 1728000:90 1958400:50

timer_rate - 10000

timer_slack - 5000

"above_hispeed_delay" makes sure that longer time is spent on the frequency step 1.72Ghz, before quickly raising higher into max freq.
1.72Ghz is the most energy efficient frequency with a good performance, e.g. it will not cause lag during casual usage, while it uses minimal voltage.
If the load is too high for this frequency to handle, I set the time short once it's gone over this freq step so that it will not waste time before reaching max freq. Thus dealing with the issue asap.

Another important parameter is "target_load", with this I have defined that at each efficient freq step the load needed to overcome it would be higher than normal. But it would up-scale quickly when using non-efficient frequencies.

The other parameters I have set so that the frequency is lowered as soon as CPU load is finished, so that it will rush back to idle as quickly as possible.

The interesting thing about this set-up is that for general, non heavy usage, it basecally functions as if I have underclocked to 1.72Ghz, but when the CPU is truly pushed it reaches up to 2.5Ghz which is my Overclocked max freq value.
Thus both saving battery and providing high performance.

I have felt no lag, and it's been quite a smooth experience while I used this :)
Combined with using GPU rendering (found in developer settings), and Seeder, the over all usage is pretty good.
Battery usage has been very efficient and I have managed to squeeze out an extra hour or two using this.

I highly recommend it!
Hope I helped you guys... don't forget to press the thanks button if you also feel that I did!:good::good:
