I have searched and read forums and google, but yet unable to get my LG G2x P999 into download mode to be able to root, load a recovery and upgrade to a custom ROM (even though I don't think the ROM I am use to is available (Liquidsmooth)). I have tried Vol down + power which reset the phone. I also tried Vol up + power all this did once i plugged a usb cable into it from my PC (Windows 10) was start charging battery even though I was at 95%. I also tried battery out out and Vol up & down this also didn't work. I also tried the LG_Root_Script_by_avicohh which couldn't put it into download mode and asked me to do it manually so it stopped at 75% for I couldn't manually get into download mode. I do have the Nvidia APX drivers and the usb drivers loaded when I check device manager. Any help or suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
