Android One: Recovery mode warning sign

Hi,

I had previously rooted my device: Android 1 - Micromax Canvas A1. I also had installed CWM on my device. For some reason, I have removed recovery mode and unrooted my device. My device had Marshmallow with February patch.

But whenever I try to get OTA it doesn't get succesfull. Whenever I try to go into recovery mode it shows my dead android with warning sign saying "No command!". When I try to press "Power Key + Volume UP" I get error message saying "Error in @/cache/recovery/block.map (status 7)".

Reading few posts, I understood that some system files got corrupted and I won't get OTA updates. So downloaded one Zip files and I flashed all the *.img files (recovery, system, boot, etc). Now my system had Android 5.1. But I'm getting same error while going into recovery mode.

I also tried to use "Smart Phone Flash Tool " but whenever I click "Download button" it stucks in the same state showing no progress.

I have read many posts and tried many things but I'm stuck at this stage. Can anybody help me out of this problem?

The Amazon fire stays with black screen all the time. It is impossible to turn it on, nor recovery neither Fast Boot...

the problem , i see that Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 has jelly bean update 4.1 !!!!
the specs of that phone like our's S DUOS (expect ram 512 MB RAM) . . . . why we don't have that update :crying:
And same thing with Samsung Galaxy Young S6310 :eek: !!!

help-infocus m560 preinstalled malware - root only option

ok so i bought the infocus m560 (m808/v5) from ebay. uk warehouse chinese seller.
When it arrived the box was unsealed however the excuse for this could be the seller removed the eu plug and put in a uk one.
as soon as i booted it up I ran malware bytes which came back clean but on browsing through settings - apps I notice something called pandoras box & pandoras box services. the second one has permissions to everything. I cannot uninstall or disable either. These seem to serve no relevance to the phone. I believe it is disguised malware.
someone on another forum reccomended netguard which i dowloaded and tried but as soon as I disable internet access for PB &PBS it AUTOMATICALLY disables web access for a lot of other things, I cannot have only PB & PBS selected.
I've been told that it seems that PB/PBS is running as a system process therefore any unrooted app won't affect it.

I read you can uninstall malware by booting into safe mode but i'm not sure if that will work in this instance?
I can find original stock rom for the m560 which doesnt seem to require root to flash - i could try flashing this which would solve the problem IF it was the 3rd party seller that added the malware, but wont if it was the manufacturer and I don't think there is any way to tell? - i can put a link to the page with the stock rom if anyone wants to check its ok

aside from the above my only other option is to root. I have never rooted before. I am a total noob. I've read the process but parts of it i dont fully understand. I do not want to brick the device. I would possibly be willing to give it a go if someone can provide step by step almost fool proof instructions/a clear guide. I've had a look for rooting on m560 and I think there are a few options available - if someone could be as kind to tell me which would be easiest

any other suggestions/solutions welcomed.
I can submit any screen shots if nescessary.

[Help] FC Issue after Deodexing

Hello everyone,

I had Galaxy S5 G900H with Official LP but wasn't able to install Xposed Framework. After doing some research, I found that Xpose cannot be installed on Odex ROM (possibly on my G900H varient only - not sure) and that my ROM must be deodexed in order to install Xpose so after working on it for the whole day I was able to deodex my rom with Superrs kitchen.

I was successful to boot my deodexed rom & install Xposed framework via TWRP recovery. Now I am getting a FC issue, it says "IndexService has stopped working". My rom is fully stable and no random restarts or FC issues expect the one I mentioned. Now I seek XDA help. I will be thankful if anyone could sort out this issue.

Marshmallow - Data Connection Issue

Hi Experts,

I've recently updated to Marshmallow thru OTA and currently finds huge issue with Data Connectivity.

Somehow I noticed that whenever the phone is on higher temperature (when playing games), Mobile Data will automatically dropped from LTE / H+ to GSM only, on both of my line (dual sim).

Once dropped, there's no way for me to get back the Mobile Data not until I've the phone restarted few round.
This does not previously happen on my Z3 on Lollipop but however such behavior appears only in Marshmallow environment.

Can any of you perhaps advise on the above?

[URGENT] Suddenly can't make calls from Nexus 5

The problem started last night when i was travelling, it was working in my previous city, but as soon i got the signals on the airport in next city, calls suddenly stopped working. It ends with "Call ended" as soon as i try to dial a number. I can send SMS, receive calls, but can't make any calls.

I tried my sim in another phone, works fine, another sim in my nexus 5, same problem with that sim, so the problem is with the phone.

Tried factory reset, dirty reflashing of MOB30D build, problem remains the same. Any ideas what happened? Please reply, it's urgent as i am with no other phone in another city right now. :crying:

MicroSD. Which one to buy?

I bought a 64Gb MicroSD for little money. It is not brand, but when I copy large amounts of files from the PC (ie music), then when I put it on the phone, the music disappears. This problem can be given by the poor quality of MicroSD? What do you recommend? A MicroSD Samsung Evo may be okay?

i got two 10" tablets and both got the same issue:
bluetooth stutters / skips when playing an audiostream (Spotify, Youtube, Netflix, etc.) I found this:

Add this line to you build.prop and watch the skips disappear: ro.bluetooth.request.master=true

But it doesnt change to play well. I cant find and access "audio.conf" to change more.

I bought H815 in Sweden.
and i came to Seoul with this Phone. i input the Uplus usim into it,
when i turn on the phone, the antenna was not activated.
but in the setting of netowrk, i can see the the network companies.
so, i installed new kdz of hongkong H815t10.. , in this case, the anttena can be activated, but,
i can see this kind of messgae "Current version is not avaiable for user. Cna't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc[FFFFF],subset[11]"
and can't use make a call as well.

how i can use this phone in KOrea..

Screen mirroring not working with VPN

Hi folks,

I've got a quick question on using Screen Mirroring (Using ChromeCast) when using a VPN.

Now I understand that if I was streaming directly from, say, the Youtube aap, then the VPN will not work since the content is being directly fed from the router on my TV. However, for screen mirroring, only the content on my screen should be displayed on the TV.

I had a Note 4 where I had no issues at all doing this, but now for some reason the screen won't mirror on my S7 Edge with VPN.

I'm on android 6.0.1.

Appreciate any advice you can give.

Charging problems

Hi
Just received my P9000 and updated to the new OTA 20160419 right away.
My problem is that I can only charge the phone once, then I have to do a power off to be able to recharge it.
I have tried with both standard USB charger, a "real" USB-C charger and QI. The results are the same.
When the phone is power-off the charging works as expected, so the hardware seems OK.
Anyone else seen anything like this or am I just the lucky owner of a defect phone?

I'm planning to install custom recovery and ROM on my phone. Now, will that affect the phone? I mean am I still Carrier locked if I did install Rom and Recovery? Or I cant do that because I am locked? I'm really confused.

QC 3.0 compliant cables?

Hi,

the last days brought some fuzz about QC 3.0 vs. USB-C 3.0. From what I learned, the main concern was that QC 3.0 would allow up to 18V where USB-C 3.0 limits it to 15V. I guess this is only of concern if QC 3.0 is configured to use 18V where it could also use 12V.

How many Volts does the HTC 10 use and which USB-C cables (besides the one that comes with the HTC 10) are compliant that they can be used to QC 3.0 the HTC 10?

I ordered these because they are USB-C 3.0 spec compliant and hoped, these would also work for QC 3.0 (not only charging but quick charging):

Help: Porting CM-11.0 on Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus (msm8610) a.k.a Phicomm C230WJA

Hi,

I am learning to build android ROM and trying to port CM-11.0 on Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus (msm8610) a.k.a Phicomm C230WJA. In the last three months I progressed up to getting past the boot animation and grasping the basics. Now, I am facing the following problems when running the ROM on actual device.

Your help would greatly appreciated.

Note: I am building it from source using CAF kernel, display and media.

1. After flashing, first boot gets past boot animation and only Top status bar appears. No launcher, no icons, no wallpaper nothing only Cyanogenmod's debugging icon, battery icon shows up, rest of the screen remains blank.
2. Second boot does not get past boot animation.
3. When screen locks itself, it gets totally white. This also happens when phone is powered off and charger plugged in. I mean screen turn off issue.
4. Lock screen appears as it should be with background image and few icons etc.

G3 Won't Boot

My G3 powered off and stopped booting today. It was connected to a laptop via an old frayed usb cable, and it suddenly shut off.
It was then that the power button stopped working and I saw the QHS usb loader device of death (Windows new device notification)

Intermittently I have seen the QHS USB 9008 device when connecting to my PC, but not always.
I tried to run the QCDiag tool, but it said failed to flash.

Any tips?
Is it possible a connection is loose? Wondering if I can open the phone up and fix it.
It was working mostly fine prior to this, with occasional issues of the SIM being undetected.

Google calendar Caldav sync?

I run a Linux server with a Caldav server and it worked flawlessly with the stock calendar app from 1.5, but that is now gone.
I have successfully installed Google Calendar on my Ultratablet, but it appears different than the one on my phone.I don't see anywhere in
settings to add another calendar.I accomplished this on the phone with DavDroid + the stock Google Calendar. Any ideas?

Need help. Confused in my Note3 Model number. Need to flash Custom roms.

Hello friends, I am new to Note 3 Forum.
I recently received Note3 from one of my friend. The problem is that My phone Model Number shows SM-N9005 in About device. But in Download mode and Recovery mode it shows SM-N900P. I am confused which is my my exact Model number. In Battery Compartment it Shows SM-N9005.
I want to try some custom roms but couldn't due to this confusion. I tried to flash latest stock Firmwares of N9005, but Odin failed to flash. Please help me out to flash Custom roms.

MT6582 video pixelated / twitch playback issue

I have a bug with all the roms i have ported for my smartphone. CM12.1 and CM13.
My smartphone is the uhappy up520 which has mt6582.

The problem is that:
1) I cannot watch stream through the twitch app. Audio plays but video does not show up at all. With some of the roms, i can watch the stream only on source quality.
2) All youtube video are pixelated, no matter if i play them from the original browser, chrome or youtube app, so i cannot enjoy them.

On the other hand, video files play as normal with the expected quality.
Video files i have tried were .mp4, .3gp, .mkv with 720p and 1080p resolution.

The codec that causes this problem is the OMX.ffmpeg.h264.decoder type="video/avc".
This codec is first on media_codecs.xml so it gets selected. If i delete it or move the OMX.google.h264.decoder type="video/avc" first then:
1) I can watch twitch stream with quality up to 720p. With 1080p the same behaviour, audio but no video.
2) I can watch youtube videos without any quality problem but there is a small part of videos that cannot be played.
3) I cannot play video files directly from the file manager by either choosing the default video player or vlc. Video files play fine if i open them from within vlc.

Other things that i have tried:
1) Replace libMtkOmx*.so, media_codecs.xml, mtk_omx_core.cfg, libvcodecdrv.so from stock rom but it did not help.
From what i've read, i have to register the codecs to stagefright, so that they are recognized. I believe, that's why the stock libMtkOmx*.so codecs do not work.
So, i tried the following too

2) Replace all or some of libstagefright*.so but android was stuck at loading.
3) Replace libmediaplayerservice.so but it was stuck at loading too.
4) Replace libffmpeg_extractor.so, libffmpeg_omx.so, libffmpeg_utils.so with libs from other roms without any luck.

Combinations of all the above.

Can someone help me? This is the only bug that's left for me to enjoy a custom rom.

Screen cracked

So my opt screen cracked. Touchscreen is fine, everything works, just a diagonal crack. I've read that the opt is equipped with a screenprotector. How do I remove it? Before I buy a new one I want to make sure that there currently already is a screenprotector. Thanks

Home and recent button disabled

Hi all,
After hooking my phone up to a car stereo, the home and recent key stopped working.
Let me explain:
I just bought a Pioneer avh-x5800dab, with a built in feature that makes it possible to mirror your android device to your head unit. When i unplugged my phone from the head unit, the recent and home button stopped working.
The recent button lights up when i press it, and i can wake and unlock my phone with the home key. Also, both keys works in TWRP. So to me it seems android has unmapped the keys.
Back key works as normal.
I am running KryxOS R1.3
What i have tried so far:
Wipe cache and dalvik.
Uninstalled all apps related to the pioneer head unit.
Dirty flashed the rom.

I would prefer not to clean flash the rom again. Any help and suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

Nexus 9 charging issue

As the charger is connected, I play alot, then sometimes it charges itself no more, even if it get cold now.

I can't figure it out. I just checked in the App Ampere.

It is connected. But it doesn't charge anymore. Until I pull the connect out and reconnect.

I've never had a device like that.

is there someone play game hard with this device?

Help turning off oem lock on broke Sm-G530T

My phone screen is broken and it remains black while the phone is on. I can't enable adb debugging because of this or unlock oem.

Is there a way I can odin an unlocked oem bootloader or something similar that would work so i can install a custom recovery and use adb through it?

Bluetooth Stack Protocols

Hi Everyone, I'm new here - just made an account because I cannot figure this problem out. I just started playing around with Xposed and I LOVE it by the way! but unfortunately that's not why I'm here. I have a Headrush bluetooth headset, it's great, has a built in mic, a2dp & works for calls even on a old ipod touch 4th gen for some reason though, my Lenovo a-5500f a8 ideatab running android 4.4.2 won't read the mic, I only have the media option, no call option.

I don't know what to do. there's like nothing at all on this, I read ONE forum that someone was experiencing my problem, and the only answer was that it's most likely because it's a WiFi tablet & wasn't meant to make phone calls on. I love my tablet & my headphones & would really be blown away if I could find a solution to this. I'm good with Linux & Windows, just learning Android stuff & it's really similar to Linux so it's not too far off, but I'm so clueless on this..

So an overview: my tablet won't detect the mic/phone call protocol for this headset, the headset works 100% on all other devices except for my new tablet.. I also have a few USB OTG's, is it possible I could perhaps run another bluetooth through a OTG? SixAxis works great, I can connect a controller, but not this mic..

any brainstorming to this helps, thank you.

long pressing the home button won't launch google now

I am having an issue with my s7 edge. When I long press the home button it won't launch google now (no, I don't mean on tap). Long pressing will just launch the white bubble w/o the google logo and then nothing....it won't take me to google search. Is there a fix?

Charging problems.. Please help

Suddenly I'm having charging problems. It's not the cord going bad. It's actually the part that plugs in. If I wiggle it one direction it loses connection.. It also won't fast charge anymore. The other day I'd plug it in and it would say dock connected instead of charging... There's a possibility water or condensation got into the charging port on my phone but I'm not sure. Any ideas on how to fix?

heating while boot up

My m8 is heating to much when I do restart or use any apps normally for 5 minutes and the battery drain is the main thing my battery is draining 1% per 3 minute's I don't have idea what's wrong with my phone I tried to clean install multiple roms or used wakelock detector but no success. please help me😅

Cant flash custom ROM

Hi,

my t mobile N3 came with stock 5.0 L

i rooted it with CF auto root (went OK) and then flashed TWRP ( latest )

recovery , root all work fine except the fact that i cant flash any roms, twrp is working perfectly , it makes nandroid back up, but when i start to flash a rom, the logs start and when it says " initializing aroma installer" , the recovery re boots and im back to TWRP main menu

so far, ive tried Dominion V12 and DOM POP rom and same problems occurs to both. i follow every instruction to the letter but IDK why this issue is coming,,

Can't Flash CF Auto Rooter: Custom Binary (Recovery) blocked from FRP lock

I have a brand new G930F. I completed the setup process and got all my apps and settings configured.

I would like to root it, but when I try to flash chainfire's auto-root in ODIN, I get the message:
"Custom Binary (Recovery) blocked from FRP lock".
At which point I have to hold power till it dies and restart it.

I'm not bricked or anything, I just can't flash the rooter. Any ideas?

HELP!!! stuck at boot loader

I've unlocked the boot loader and installed the TWRP 3.0.2 in my moto E dual sim , after that i 've made the backup also for the stock rom, then i wanted to install the new rom so i have downloaded it and placed in the external storage with the Gapps .. but when m trying to install everything is getting installed and after thatit is getting stuck at the bootloader . steps what i did is

How can I root my Galaxy S5? It was At&t, i brought it over to Straight Talk

I purchased my friends S5 which was from AT&T and then I used the BYOP plan with Straight Talk. How do I root this? I tried Towelroot and it says its not supported. Also what ROMs can I get with this if any? I want to root to get rid of all the at&t pre installed apps on here that I cant use with Straight talk. Also pretty new to this. I have Odin on my laptop from installing stock firmware on my S3. Any help with root and ROMs would be much appreciated.

Screen flick

Hi there, i am using samsung galaxy s5 When the screen brightness is lowered to the lowest setting, the screen begins to flicker. Raising the brightness a few notches stops the flickering. I have not dropped the phone or exposed it to water – the issue started out of the blue and it's driving me mad! This problem started last 3weeks when i flashed cm13 but i don't think that was the cause, i have tried screen overlay thing on devs options also tried gpu rendering things, turned off the adoptive display. All came out with nothing. Please help.

Can you Encrypt Exhibit T599n with Custom Rom?

Can anyone verify the ability to successfully encrypt this device with any custom rom 4.4.4 or newer?

I've tried Omnirom 4.4.4, Carbon 4.4.4 and Meticulus' CM12.1

But all have failed to encrypt despite my best efforts.
CM12.1 wouldn't even encrypt with instructed via ADB.

Random Reboots. Is there a known cause and/or fix yet?

I'm still experiencing random reboots from time-to-time. The other day it was at least 4 times in an hour. I can't isolate the problem. It has happened to me on stock rom/kernel and also rooted/custom kernel.

I was flashing last night an i9100 custom rom (either namelessrom or slimkat) and i fell asleep,so i didn't reboot the phone after flashing.In the morning,i found the phone bricked. Nothing works. doesn't boot normally,in recovery or download mode.

MHL not working in CM12; recommendations?

I'm running the latest official CM12 ROM and can't get MHL to work. I've done some reading and found that this is an old issue and due to proprietary drivers. Is that still the case? Is there any way to get MHL working on CM12?

If not, what's a good CM-like ROM with MHL functionality? I'm not a fan of Touchwiz, and I like a pretty barebones, less-is-more approach, along the lines of AOSP/AOKP/CM/etc. I like light, fast, and stable.

Plz advice on phone to use as IPCameras.

Hello,

I have a small project I was thinking of doing : I have a synology server and I would like to hook to it an IP camera using an old phone.
The trick is, I am not a phone expert, that's why I am here :D

The idea would be to put the phone in a flower pot and take the camera module from it and make a hole in the flower pot for the camera. And only the camera. I will wire the camera to the phone...
The phone will need a good camera, even in low light considering it will mostly record inside the house.
The phone should have the hability to be rooted.
The phone should be super cheap, otherwise there is no point, right :silly: So I am thinking of second hand phone less than 20 Euros.

Fingerprint ID not in settings [mate 8 nxt-al10C00B172]

Hello everyone. I just purchased a used mate 8 nxt-al10 for $100 Cad :). The screen is shattered other than that it works great. The "fingerprint ID" isn't anywhere in the settings so I can't use the scanner. Any suggestions? Could it be the drop that broke the screen dislodged the ribbon cable for the scanner?

I am a kind of Xtreme user .. would do anything to my Lenovo and yet can get back to normal [i mean even if i brick it] NOT BOASTING at all just saying willing to take any kind of risk ...!!!!!:victory:

Can't make calls using Google Voice

I am unable to Google Voice to make outgoing international calls. I believe the reason is that MIUI uses it's own dialer and not the standard android one. It seems GV does not recognize the MIUI dialer. I tried installing other dialers, none of them work.

tried searching online, all the solutions available are for older versions of miui.

Has anyone found the solution for this yet.

Im hoping to install a new custom ROM on Note 4 Duos (N9100). and i would like a faster and better ROM than the Samsung touchwiz.

Can you suggest me some ROMs that have no bloatware or lesser bloatware and working really fast and not consuming much battery?

I would like Cyanogenmod and other faster ROMs.

N910C Marshmallow Battery Optimization Menu

Hello all,

ive noticed that some apps (particularily WhatsApp) is not included in the list of battery optimization in the new Marshmallow update (from Poland).

Is this normal? Usually my messages gets delayed big time until i wake the phone myself they all charge in at once !

Is there a way, for example, to add WhatsApp to that list...so i can control it better?

Bug report: Can't set Grant+Time from prompt

I'm using SuperSU Pro 2.65, but this behavior has been around forever across multiple phones, versions of android, and versions of SuperSU. I have a PIN set. If an app requests root and I check "Ask again in 15 minutes", then press grant and type my PIN, the app gets "prompt" permissions instead of Grant+Time. Basically the only way to set Grant+Time is to go into the SuperSu app itself.

Ideally the default would be ask next time, but it would be possible to set Grant+Time from the prompt menu. (Moreover, even more ideal would be to allow the default time to be selected in the settings menu, so that I can chose between a default of Next Time and 5 minutes.)

Background: My whole goal is to use Quasar addon with the microSD. I have a rooted FireTV2 running Paragon NTFS to mount a 128GB Samsung micro USB formatted for NTFS. I am currently using Kodi 16.1 to view files >4GB and I have no issues viewing movies I placed on the card greater than 4 GB. The issue is that when I go to the Kodi file manager and add the NTFS source, it still shows the size of the NTFS microSD as the FireTV internal storage size (in my case 3.54 GB). Therefore I am unable to write files greater than the internal storage to the microSD from within Kodi, even though the card is 128 GB. For example, I receive an error saying not enough storage space when the addon download path is set to it.

I was thinking it would be easier to use the SD card as internal storage instead so I do not run into this issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

how do i update my firmware if its not yet available for my region?

hi there i am using the dual sim version of the s7 edge from singapore but i am still waiting for the latest firmware update. been itching to see if it makes a difference to the battery life i am current experiencing on my phone. still stuck on PB3 and wishing i had the PD1 firmware.

disable volume limit for bluetooth android 5.1.1

is there a way to disable the stupid volume limiter for Bluetooth media?

every time I have to push the volume back to 100%
its annonying as fuk to have to do that every single time the phone pairs with the indash to play Pandora...

can I manually disable it somehow?
I have galaxy s5 rooted with stock tmobile rom loaded with 5.1.1 android

its a new thing and it wasn't there with the original firmware before I rooted it but its outdated

I don't know why its there its really a stupid feature... why would the developers even have it for Bluetooth connection.

Note 3 shuts down and starts only after pulling out battery or putting on charger. :(

I have sm n900 which is 2 and half year old. I rooted this device in a first week when I bought it. The device was smooth and everything was pretty fine. But recently 4 month ago, I had a first crash while opening camera360 app. The device goes full black and doesn't turns on. I have to pull out my battery and put it back in to turn it on.

And after few days, it crashed and shut down again while I started playing Dominations. It has not crashed on camera360 since then , but has continued its crash by getting shut down, while starting Dominations.

Then, I changed my battery and bought a new one and I still face the same problem. I changed from VN-ROM to CM 12.1. The problem still persists. It only shuts down when I open Dominations. Else, it is smooth for other games like Piano Tiles 2. I don't know what is this. Also, it never crashes when I open Dominations while plugged in. I thought it was the battery issue but I even changed to new battery. Please help!! Below are the screenshot of battery after blackout. The screenshot is from both ROM. One is 4.4.2 kitkat and other is 5.1.1 lollipop. Is this the hardware issue? I think it crashes when it needs more RAM and then sudden blackout.. :(

Best rom for xperia sp discussion

Require assistance please. Zte Avid Plus Z828 FRP 'd

So, I got a Zte Avid Plus z828 (t mobile no sim card) that has frp so basically i cant get pass the google account verification screen. I have found a way to get into the settings and enable developer mode without no otg method or apk methods. I simply used the text to speech method where i open the source for that and then open up google and search settings allowing me to access the settings and enable developer mode via build version.
Now here's the problem I can click backup and reset but when i actually click RESET PHONE nothing happens. I can keep on clicking it and nothing will happen it's a button thats just there. I want to enable USB debugging with hopes of using adb shell and wiping the phone that way but i can't even access the developer settings. I click on the developer settings and nothing happens its the same situation with the RESET PHONE option. Why is this occurring? Anyone have any advice as to how i can get around this? I've tried downloading apks that would open the developer settings but it opens for less then a second then instantly closes. I'm new here so i'm not even sure if this is where i was supposed to even post this, sorry if it wasn't the correct place to post this. if you need me to elaborate anymore just ask, i'll gladly do it.

ADB sideload gives version error

V10 with G4 radios?

I have the T-Mobile v10 that I'm using in Canada. Problem is that LTE band 4 doesn't work, it just stops working after a while. My wife has the G4 and is with the same cell carrier and her phone has no issues with band 4 LTE. Soooo I was wondering if there is any way of flashing the radio on the g4 to work with the v10. Maybe it will resolve the issue.
I don't know if this method is even possible so that's why I'm asking here.

[Q] Migrating data using titanium backup

I recently factory reset by phone using twrp and restored using titanium backup. Upon launching titanium backup, it asked if I want to restore device id, and upon restoring, I found that I am able to restore line and viber along with all the messages. Before this, I am not able to restore messages to these apps(assume my device id changed).

Here is my question, if I change phone to a different model, will I be able to restore the same device id to my new phone(different brand/model)?

(HELP) soft bricked android mobile

Guys i have WHAM WS36 which have android 4.2.2 jellybean and it is soft bricked :crying: , it is not rooted and hence cannot unlock bootloader and also there is no twrp/cwm available for my device and custom rom is also not available , i have tried hart reset and wipe cache partition but didn't helped , help what to do :confused:

lg g3 hard bricked no download mode plz my father will kill me

i rooted my lg g3 d 855 lollipop and tried to install TWRP
but it was not a success i lost recovery + download mode but it boots perfectly into android system and can use it normally
to install twrp again i tried to flash it again and again but no success
then i flash aboot.img and it all went blank not booting not rrecovery etc
i tried board diag method to unbrick it shows up in my system as qcomm hs usb 9008
but when using board diag it says DEVICE NOT FOUND IN DLOAD MODE

plz help this is my first android phone after months of hardwork
i dont think i have enough money to replace the mobo or buy a new one:crying:

[UNOFFICIAL][5.0/5.1/6][v83.0][28 Apr]Xposed for MIUI

I decide to share it there because I don't know better place for this...
This is an Xposed framework variant built for MIUI based devices running Android 5.0, 5.1 and 6.0.
Tested and working on latest ROM's on various devices.
Fully working resource hooking and themes.

Prerequisite:
- Custom recovery (CWM, TWRP)

Bugs report:
- If you get any lag, broken feature or any App force closing, post your Xposed logs.
- If you get a boot-loop, reboot and get the logcat with "adb logcat -v time".

- ARM means the devices that are running arm32 operating system and uses ARM architecture CPU.
- ARM64 means the devices that are running arm64 operating system and uses ARM64 architecture CPU.
- SDK21 means Android Lollipop 5.0.x
- SDK22 means Android Lollipop 5.1.x
- SDK23 means Android Marshmallow 6.0.x

How to install:
- Install Xposed Installer app
- Make a nandroid backup
- Copy the Xposed file and the uninstaller to your sdcard
- Flash "xposed-vxx-sdkxx-armxx-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-xxxxxxxx.zip" through a custom recovery (TWRP/CWM...)
- Reboot and wait, it may take several minutes to boot up depending on your ROM size and installed apps amount. If phone still not boot after 5 minutes then you need get boot log by "adb logcat -v time", reboot into recovery and restore backup or de install Xposed
