Is it possible to use a microSD as the FireTV 2's internal storage?
AFTVnews put out the following article in 2014 showing how to mount a usb as internal for the FireTV1:

Has there been an update to this for the next generation?
Background: My whole goal is to use Quasar addon with the microSD. I have a rooted FireTV2 running Paragon NTFS to mount a 128GB Samsung micro USB formatted for NTFS. I am currently using Kodi 16.1 to view files >4GB and I have no issues viewing movies I placed on the card greater than 4 GB. The issue is that when I go to the Kodi file manager and add the NTFS source, it still shows the size of the NTFS microSD as the FireTV internal storage size (in my case 3.54 GB). Therefore I am unable to write files greater than the internal storage to the microSD from within Kodi, even though the card is 128 GB. For example, I receive an error saying not enough storage space when the addon download path is set to it.
I was thinking it would be easier to use the SD card as internal storage instead so I do not run into this issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
