Mate 8 questions & OnePlus One comparison

Hi guys,

few days ago I become the owner of Huawei Mate 8 (NXT-L29 C432), 32 GB/3GB Ram, upgraded to stock B320 right away. What I have read about m8, it should be one of the best phones nowadays available. I had OnePlus One for the last 2 years, so let me compare those 2 cellphones...

I was looking forward to a new phone, but I am quite dissapointed right now. OnePlus One (OPO) is almost 3 years older type and not even half the price, but that android cynogenmod is like 5 years ahead in development, ultra fast, automatic updates to the newest android/cyanogenmod version almost every week, great features (best pre-installed apps for e-mail, tasks, settings, calling - implemented great working TruCallerID, lots of great stuff, etc...). My OPO had 64GB internal storage, maybe even better processor (?), it had like 3 times more settings options, etc. How is it even possible that I bought brand new phone and even after checking for updates I have much older android than in my old OPO phone? I am sad that Mate 8 doesn't have some good community taking care about modding, apps, features...
To be honest, that cellphone change wasn't worth the money, not even close.

But I don't wanna be just negative, Mate 8 has some good features, fingerprint scanner (even I don't need it), I actually like sleep-mode-apps-killing, much more LTE brands...

Let me have few questions please:

1) I won't install any custom roms, there can be warranty problem with my seller, but my phone didn't even offered me the update to stock B320, it looked like B180 was the newest firmware available, do I really have to check XDA all the time and install updates manually?
2) I can't find ringtone settings (increasing volume) - is it even there?
3) That voice commands is just a joke, seriously. Okay emy - even those two words works in approximately 40 % of time, where are you - it works only if the phone is right in front of you (:D), dont even try it if it's in another room, so pretty unusable. And okay emy - call xxx - it can catch that xxx name in like 20 % and even if it can catch it - it says calling xxx, but NOT ACTUALLY CALLING, any idea where is the problem?
4) any good suggestion for an app replacing integrated Huawei fit/health? Pedometer works fine, but it has very few options and functions. That map after exercise - I can't even switch to satellite view, right?

Thanks a lot guys for each comment, sorry for my english
