5 Pin Connector Behind Lower Strap / Hole Behind Upper Strap

Anyone have any ideas what these are for? I am guessing the 5 pin connector is for some sort of smartstrap/band (if anything ever comes of it). And the hole, is that a noise cancellation mic?
